Title: Technical Services EngineerCompany Description: A leading HVAC manufacturer’s representative organization for over 30 years seeks a Technical Services Engineer in Somerset County, NJ to provide technical and application engineering support.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:
Provide a full range of technical and application engineering support to the HVAC Products, Laboratory, and Engineering Groups
Provide field-based technical services including equipment preventative maintenance, troubleshooting assistance, equipment start-ups, repairs, warranty support, controls testing/troubleshooting/repair, inspections, field surveys, and technical testing
Work closely with the sales and engineering teams to identify opportunities to expand the company\'s services and add technical differentiators in the marketplace
Provide technical product training in-house or at a customer\'s site in the application of the company\'s key products
Location: Somerset County, New Jersey

Demonstrate a strong understanding of engineering and HVAC system fundamentals
Strong writing and verbal communication skills
Strong planning and organizational skills – attention to detail - establish goals and set priorities
Solid technical background - \"hands-on” experience with mechanical work, troubleshooting field problems, and technical service/repair activities
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities – sees problems as an opportunity to improve customer relations
Must be mechanically inclined and should have a background in problem-solving mechanical and electrical systems
Must have business aptitude and interest in continuous, rapid growth - this will be a customer-facing role, and it will be critical to manage customer relationships and communications daily
Should possess a disposition that is conducive to working on multiple assignments and communicating professionally in high-pressure, time-sensitive customer environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - AutoCAD preferred
Expected travel –NJ, Eastern PA, DE, and to manufacturers for training or as may be required – overnight as required
Must possess a valid driver\'s license
Technical or associate degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC systems, or related discipline
