Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:
Plan and execute commercial HVAC construction projects based on company values and objectives
Develop project solutions with a team-based approach
Lead project teams to yield safe, consistent, profitable, and high-quality construction results
Develop and maintain good-standing relationships with clients; provide timely responses and leveraging additional sales opportunities
Formulate the high-performance project team
Develop and mentor project team members
Consistently utilize planning processes (For Example: kickoff, turnover, planning, critical path and weekly operations meetings) to establish and execute project plans
Establish specific project goals with the project team and monitor those targets
Assign project tasks as necessary to team members; clearly defining responsibilities and expectations. (For example: submittals, purchasing, RFIs, pre-fab, closeout, etc.)
Project Manager is ultimately responsible for all financial aspects of their projects. (For Example: SOVs, change orders, billings, project reviews, etc.)
Ensure safe practices; be proactive in identifying project hazards to minimize risks
Hold project teams accountable; provide positive feedback or corrective action when appropriate
Location: New York City, NY
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as commercial/industrial project manager
Knowledge of commercial/industrial HVAC and plumbing mechanical systems
Proven track record of meeting job schedules by coordinating numerous activities and teams of direct and indirect reports to achieve maximum efficiency
Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
Experience managing projects on military installations and facilities is a strong plus
