Title: Manager, HVAC Services
Company Description:A major energy supplier that provides a broad range of energy products and services in the New York area and beyond seeks a positive, goal oriented Manager, HVAC Services.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:
Manage incoming HVAC calls/customer inquiries, while maintaining superior customer service
Coordinate and communicate with parts vendors for pricing and parts needed by technicians
Dispatch Service Technicians
Debrief customers after completion of each call (if necessary)
Prepare and/or receive work orders from and to servicemen
Review finished HVAC work tickets and help prepare invoices or coordinate follow-up visits
Identify and survey all bid or quoted work opportunities, review all bidding documents, plans, schedules, and budgets to establish a complete understanding of the project scope of work
Prepare bid packages and estimates for quoted jobs
Prepare, maintain, and update project schedules
Execute installations according to construction documents (drawings, specs, manuals)
Obtain and track all permits and signoffs for the project
Schedule and oversee installation crews and subcontractors to complete the contracted work
Periodically attend job walkthroughs
Work with field techs to troubleshoot service calls
If necessary, go into the field to help repair problem calls
Attend site meetings with Architects, Customers, Engineers, and/or City Agencies, as needed
Track project budgets on both labor and materials to ensure the project is completed within budget
Estimate change orders for active projects and work with the customer for approvals
Train customers in equipment operation upon completion of the project
Maintain spreadsheets and/or tracking logs for all projects
Estimate change orders for active projects

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Clean Driver’s License
VRF/VRV and controls experience preferred
EPA 608 Universal Certificate
OSHA 30 or SST
F60 Fire Guard Torch Operations
G60 Torch Use of Flammable Gases
R-32/A2L Certification
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:
Sit, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and squat for prolonged periods of time and/or repeatedly over a required period
Ability to lift 50 pounds independently
Ability to climb 36-to-72-inch ladder or scaffold
Constantly work in severe outdoor weather conditions, with exposure to oil and/or fumes and the elements
Reach with and work with hands and arms overhead
Identify and avoid hazardous waste including Asbestos hazards
Ability to work while wearing a face mask, safety goggles and any other required PPE
