Title: Controls Systems Engineer
Company Description: Assisting businesses in Eastern New England with complex building automation and security systems, the leading independent controls contractor in New England seeks a Controls Systems Engineer.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:
Responsible for engineering and creating submittal drawings for assigned ATC, BMS, and HVAC Control System projects as turned over from Project Manager, following details of the specification and sales turnover
Attend kickoff/ turnover meeting with Project Manager as necessary on assigned projects
Layout and CAD drawings for all controllers and systems per specified sequences of operation
Communicate daily or as required with the Project Manager assigned to the specific project as to the status and progress of the engineered drawings
Communicate any deviations or problems that may arise during the engineering portion of work with the PM for resolution
Update and maintain as required, project’s master field set of documentation for as-built/record purposes. This includes but is not limited to electrical power circuit I.D.’s, communication/network wiring, field panel locations, I.P. addresses, etc.
Notifies Project Manager of any issues that imply scope change or potential change orders to base scope of work
Responsible for efficiently managing the engineering labor hours on assigned projects to meet or beat the estimated hours
At completion of project, document all as built changes and produce a finished set of drawings for use in the O&M package

Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of ATC, BMS, BAS, HVAC Control Systems
Ability to work with AutoCad and Visio
Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of simple to complex control systems and associated devices
Two year technical degree or equivalent field experience
Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and ATC/EMS systems
Expert Visio/ AutoCAD skills
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an ATC/BMS Engineering role
