Title: Senior Project Manager

A well-established HVAC Controls company is now hiring an experienced Senior Project Manager for service of low voltage automated building control systems for HVAC, Security, CCTV, Lighting and Card Access control.
This company provides high-quality engineering and remote support services to Building Automation System (BAS) contractors across the United States. Our team specializes in control system design, submittals, programming, graphics, and ongoing technical support for major BAS platforms. We help contractors increase capacity, improve delivery timelines, and scale their operations without adding overhead.
Responsibilities:
Provide consultative services to customers using trend data and existing condition reports.
Manage time properly and efficiently.
Report problems or changes to team members immediately.
Work with office personnel on projects to schedule and complete tasks on time.
Communicate with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Oversee other controls technicians on projects.
Meet regularly with customer to become familiar with operating problems.
Keep customer informed on the nature of service provided, outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and or replacement.
Promote the sale of add-on work.
Provide customer training on control systems.
Complete job documents and work orders in a timely manner.
Some projects may require installation, commissioning, and network management.
Keeps management and customer informed of job progress and issues.
Location: Central to Northern, NJ
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as controls/building automation system project manager
Knowledge of and experience with mechanical building systems operation
Experience managing building automation systems controls projects in large data centers
Proven track record of meeting job schedules by coordinating numerous activities and team of direct reports to achieve maximum efficiency
Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and facilitation skills
Knowledge of:
Low Voltage EMS Systems
Building mechanical systems operation
Electrical systems
