Title: Head Controls Field Engineer
Company Description:The Midwest’s premier full-service representative of HVAC equipment, parts and service solutions seeks a Head Controls Field Engineer in DuPage County, IL.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:
Lead and manage the field aspects of delivering a complete control system design
Assist in development and implementation of a comprehensive and scalable approach to building automation
Assist in implementing technical curriculum programs for HVAC Control Field Engineers using industry-leading resources such as ASHRAE, Tridium, Smart Building Academy, KMC, Microsoft, Bluebeam, etc.
Manage a team of field engineers I/II/III to optimize the project/sales cycle process
Oversee day-to-day operations to uphold technical competency and ensure document and execution quality control
Serve as a key resource and advisor to evaluate employee effectiveness, development and engagement matters through feedback mechanisms, metrics, and performance indicators
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization

Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years’ (without degree) of 5 years’ (with degree) experience providing service to building automation systems
S. in Engineering or related field (e.g. computer science) or an associate degree, vocational technical certificate with significant relevant industry experience (e.g. 10+ years)
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on practical solutions that exceed client expectations
Excellent people skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with internal and external stakeholders
Leadership & management skills to motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve their full potential
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding environment.
Expert knowledge using Microsoft 365 suite + Visio + Bluebeam + Niagara Workbench
