A very well established and highly regarded provider of building automation solutions seeks a Sales Representative – Engineering Services (Building Automation).
This company provides high-quality engineering and remote support services to Building Automation System (BAS) contractors across the United States. Our team specializes in control system design, submittals, programming, graphics, and ongoing technical support for major BAS platforms. We help contractors increase capacity, improve delivery timelines, and scale their operations without adding overhead.
To support our next phase of growth, we are seeking a US-based Sales Representative to develop new business, build strong client relationships, and expand our presence in the BAS marketplace.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:
Business Development
Identify and target prospective BAS contractors, system integrators, and controls companies across the US.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and industry events.
Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs related to engineering support, design, programming, and project services.
Sales Execution
Present service capabilities, pricing models, and partnership benefits to prospective clients.
Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and quotations in collaboration with the engineering team.
Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing.
Negotiate contracts and agreements aligned with company policies.
Account Management
Develop strong long-term relationships with clients and act as their primary point of contact.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across engineering service offerings.
Ensure smooth onboarding from sales to operations teams.
Market & Strategy
Track market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging opportunities in the BAS sector.
Provide feedback to leadership on service improvements and market needs.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, or networking events.
Territory Covered: United States of America (working remotely)
Required Qualifications:
2–5 years of sales experience in Building Automation, HVAC controls, or related engineering/technical services.
Understanding of BAS project workflows: design, submittals, programming, graphics, commissioning.
Strong network or familiarity with US BAS contractors and system integrators.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle and exceed targets.
Comfortable working remotely and managing time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling engineering services or outsourced technical services.
Familiarity with BAS platforms such as Niagara, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or Schneider Electric.
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Technical background in HVAC/BAS engineering is a plus.
