Title: Senior Mechanical Healthcare Engineer

A multidisciplinary professional consulting firm providing planning, engineering and construction phase services to multiple industries since 1962 seeks a Senior Mechanical Healthcare Engineer in New Hampshire.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:
Design HVAC/mechanical systems for healthcare, commercial, industrial, and educational buildings, including equipment selection and installation, layout and sizing, and heat load calculations
Provide project management from initial assessment through the design/build phase
Perform mark-ups for drafters, delegate and balance workloads, ensure project deliverables are being met
Coordinate project pipeline, develop schedules, timelines and allocate resources effectively
Provide direction to team members by clearly communicating roles, tasks, performance expectations and deadlines
Share mechanical engineering expertise and knowledge with direct reports
Interface with clients to develop project requirements
Perform site visits and field inspections
Review shop drawings and provide ongoing construction administration
Generate written reports, analyses, proposals and project specifications
Review quality of finished product
Mentor team members including junior designers and drafters
Manage direct reports including employee performance reviews, approving time off and enforcing company policies

Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years’ (10+ years preferred) of relevant mechanical systems design experience in a healthcare environment
P.E. License preferred
LEED® AP Accreditation desired
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of building codes, ASHRAE Standards and current HVAC design practices in a healthcare setting • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP and energy calculation software
Excellent leadership, communication and management skills
