Title: Senior Estimator/Technical Support Specialist

A leading provider of HVAC/R, Electrical and Plumbing solutions for residential buildings, multi-site commercial and retail facilities nationwide seeks a Senior Estimator/Technical Support Specialist.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:
Ensure that all estimates are submitted in a timely in professional manner
Projects are mechanical: chillers, cooling towers, VAV boxes, boilers, air handlers, piping
Ensure that policies and procedures developed to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and quality are adhered to by estimators
Responsible for take-off and pricing of projects including labor
Responsible for creating cost estimates consisting of materials, sub-contractors, purchased equipment, labor (start-up, service work, etc.) and other construction-related activities in bidding on or determining price of project
Prepare submittals and transmittals from estimating ensuring that documents properly identified
Assist Sales with site surveys, contractor coordination, customer meetings & other activities required to secure business opportunities
Drive specific performance metrics (schedule deadlines, quality docs, accurate scope definition & cost estimates)
Location: Remote
Qualifications:
Min 5 years’ experience as commercial HVAC service technician or 2 years’ experience as estimator with some field service experience
Experience servicing commercial equipment such as RTUs, split systems, packaged units, boilers, heat pumps, etc.
Technical degree (associates or bachelors)
Strong computer aptitude
Experience with projects in large cities preferred
Knowledge of construction permits and guidelines preferred
Ability to read blueprints and specifications strongly preferred
