Job Description

Residential HVAC Install Manager to lead a team of installers who work with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The Install Manager performs service tasks when workload requires, coordinates activities of team and supervises to ensure that all installation of HVAC equipment is done correctly and efficiently. This person will also be involved in hiring, training, making daily visits to install job sites to visually ensure the work is done correctly eliminating call backs.


  • Evaluate workload and utilize manpower in the most efficient, profitable way
  • Make sure all procedures are followed
  • Do quality assurance inspections on all installs to decrease the amount of call backs
  • Demand high standards of performance from team members
  • Constantly evaluate install technicians to make sure they are receiving up to date training
  • Ensure that all equipment & materials have been ordered & received for scheduled jobs
  • Make sure that installers have the proper tools for their jobs
  • Ensure that all install vehicles are well maintained, clean & stocked
  • Ensure that all installers are following the uniform policy to project a positive, professional image to our customers
  • Responsible for working with installers in the field as support and running service/maintenance/install calls when workload requires
  • Be able to diffuse and resolve situations/complaints from customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Be able to handle & resolve issues from the installers
  • Recruit, interview, on-board and evaluate new team members
  • Look for ways to improve& grow business with positive energy & enthusiasm
  • Strive for success

Skills and Special Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a thorough background check
  • Must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Working weekends & holidays during peak season (April - September)
