Title: Service Manager
Our client is well established company in the Long Island area and has the expertise to design, install and service HVAC systems. They have a sister company that offers controls, lighting controls, security systems and various industrial controls.
Our client offers high-efficiency, custom, HVAC installation and service for more than 50
years. Our true 24/7 staff engineers, installs and services HVAC systems
of every type with quality products and reliable service to high-rise buildings,
banks, hospitals and universities, etc.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:
- Manage the day
- Daily review of
open calls and critical problems.
- Train all levels
(Apprentice to Journeyman) Technicians. Organize regular
training/seminars for mechanic staff and safety training and
- Conduct regular
visits and meetings with key client accounts as well as all new accounts
and accounts experiencing problems.
- Review financial
performance of service accounts with General Manager and Accounting on a
to day activities of the mechanics and supervisors
Location: Long Island based
- This position
requires at least five (5) years HVAC service supervisory experience with
non-residential customers in the New York Metropolitan area.
knowledgeable in diagnosing service problems and evaluating performance of
customer's existing systems.
- Able to train
all levels (Apprentice to Journeyman) Technicians.
- You must have
experience in estimating:
systems/components up to 75 tons
installations up to 75 tons.
- Safety minded.
- Understanding of
P&L and the impact everything they do how it impacts it
communication skills with customers, employees, suppliers and management
- Strong desire to
succeed and willingness to work hard for advancement opportunities.
- Must have a clean driving and background record.
