Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and set objectives for day-to-day operations in a call center
  • Delegate call list for inside sales staff
  • Supervise 3-5 inside sales people selling HVAC/Plumbing service plans to residential customers
  • Oversee the team to maximize productivity
  • Recruit, orient, and train inside sales representatives to deliver high standard customer service
  • Carry out performance reviews of staff
  • Utilize key metrics to evaluate the performance of inside sales representatives to identify the need for special training
  • Ensure equipment and technological resources required for operations are available and in working order
  • Prepare annual budgets and schedule expenditures to meet the financial objectives of a call center
  • Design and implement standards for outbound calls to customers
  • Training of inside sales staff to overcome objections and close deals
  • Collect and analyze call center sales records and customer service metrics to evaluate general performance
  • Develop promotional spiffs to obtain contracts
  • Work with the marketing department on promotional spiffs

Background Desired:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Communications preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in telemarketing or an outbound call center environment
  • Experience with coming up with promotions
  • Customer service Skills: Adept at courteously interacting with customers and ensuring their requirements are met
  • Leadership Skill: Ability to direct and manage a team
  • Problem-solving Skills: Ability to provide solutions to customer issues and complaints
