Company Description:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of high quality indoor air quality instruments to its residential and commercial client base within the HVAC, Industrial, and Institutional markets. This company has been recognized for its successful growth and expansion across both the Americas as well as other areas across the globe. Our client designs, manufactures, and markets all of its products.

The Role:

The selected candidate will present and sell our product line to contractors and wholesale distributors throughout the Americas mostly on the east coast.

Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:

  • Selling HVAC parts and equipment to commercial and residential contractors and distributors
  • Identifying customer needs based on initial consultation
  • Achieving revenue growth and increasing the customer base
  • Developing and maintaining a sales pipeline and actively reporting progress
  • Communicating customer questions and concerns to the appropriate staff

Location: Based in Langhorne, PA

Territory: North, Central and South America (primarily Maine to Virginia, USA)

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience selling in the residential, commercial, or industrial HVAC industry

  • Proven track record working directly with independent sales representatives/agents (hybrid model)

  • Experience selling to HVACR distribution channel at all levels - corporate, branch manager, counter staff

  • Excellent industry contact book

  • Proven business development ability (Hunter profile required as opposed to Farmer)

  • Technical ability to engage and learn products/applications in detail

  • Located in NE, ideally Greater Philadelphia or Greater New York (needs to interface with team directly)

  • Ability to travel up to 65% nationally

  • Experience managing small team of 2-3 people

  • Knowledge of CRM processes/systems

  • Compensation dependent on track record, someone who is not afraid of commission sales

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Motivated and driven to grow the business

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills good communications skills
