Title: Service Sales

Company Description:

Our client is one of the leading mechanical, plumbing and servicing contractors in Florida. They have successfully constructed millions of dollars’ worth of mechanical systems for industrial, institutional, commercial, governmental and multi-use building projects in Florida.

They are currently seeking a Service Sales Rep with new business development strength. This position come with existing lucrative accounts to maintain and growth further as well as new business development is also required (approximately 50/50). On this team, you will enjoy working at a place that offers the ability to get things done quickly without all the large company red tape!

Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:

  • Selling commercial service contracts for mechanical, construction and pipe fabrication directly to end users such as hotels, schools, hospitals, and commercial office space.
  • Both cold calling/new account development as well as account management of existing accounts (50/50).
  • Provides quotes for service repairs, change outs, and IAQ, energy solutions.
  • Serves customers by answering inquires and responding to special requests.
  • Consolidates references information by collecting, organizing and assembling data for reports, presentations, and/or special projects.
  • Maintains competitive advantage by learning about competitor’s activity and reporting to management.
  • Provides quotes for service repairs, change outs, and IAQ, energy solutions.
  • Develops owner sales plans and generates successful sales with core customers.
  • Responds to customer needs by identifying needs, generating quotes and closing orders.
  • Maintains records of sales, customer information and requests by updating the database.
  • Serves customer by communicating order changes.
  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action and communicating with customers and staff as needed.
  • Communicates customer perceptions by gathering customer feedback and sharing information with management.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction by authorizing discounts and special requests
  • Occasionally will need to assist as project manager for their projects sold

Location working out of: Rivera Beach, FL

Territory Covered: Okeechobee, Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach Counties


Min 2-3 years’ experience selling HVAC, BAS or Elevator service work

  • Market experience with selling to hospitals, schools, commercial office space and hotels.
  • Proven background with cold calling/new account development.
  • Detailed and organized
  • Self -starter, work in team environment, desire to work in family oriented business that offers flexibility.
  • BSEE Degree preferred but not required
  • Local market knowledge, prefers no relocations
