Title:   BAS Design Engineer II

business since the 1970's and has been a major player in the controls industry
ever since.

 

Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to: 

  • Conceptual
    design of Automatic Temperature Controls Systems for Building Automation and
    HVAC Control.

  • Select
    hardware, transducers and other components required to interface with
    controlled equipment.

  • Complete
    project layout based on proposal, specifications and discussion with sales
    engineers and project engineers.

  • Provide
    detailed information to communicate design intent to customers and subcontractors
    including flow drawings, point to point wiring diagrams, riser diagrams, IO
    summaries, sequence of operations, equipment schedules and product data
    sheets. 

  • Meet
    with consulting engineers and project owners with the project team to resolve
    conflicts.

  • Coordinate
    field changes from the project team to create as-built drawings.  Prepare proper documentation and/or manuals
    for systems operation.

 

 Location:   Company is Long Island based Office Based
position

 

 Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years' experience in the
    design of HVAC systems and/or controls.

  • Ability
    to analyze control system drawings and schedules.

  • Schneider
    Electric/Andover Controls product knowledge is a plus. 

  • Strong
    verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Bachelor’s
    degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience
    required.
