Currently, our client is growing rapidly, and is looking for a VRV/VRF Sales Specialist to join their talented team of sales professionals!


  • Advise management on market conditions, including competitive landscape and market opportunities
  • Assist with design and application of products
  • Call on local architects, engineers, and design-build professionals to educate them on Variable Refrigerant Volume systems, controls, and other related products and their applications
  • Conducts product introduction meetings and product training sessions, for both internal and external customers
  • Develop relationships with local engineers, architects, contractors, and other specifiers
  • Develop sales personnel to be proficient in selling/offering VRF and other products
  • Keep track of job bids and maintain accuracy of job bid database
  • Participate in local professional networking groups, industry associations, and functions
  • Prepare and deliver educational presentations to architects, engineers, contractors, and internal personnel


  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or engineering related field preferred
  • Be technically competent in the field of HVAC installation/service/design/applications
  • Excellent public speaking skills
  • Familiar with PowerPoint/Excel/Word and other Microsoft Office products
  • Have a good working knowledge of electrical/refrigeration/air flow
  • Minimum of 2 years calling on the engineering community
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience, preferably in the HVAC industry
  • Previous experience with Variable Refrigerant Flow and/or Controls application and design preferred
  • Willing to travel
