Title: Commissioning Manager

The Role:


This position will coach/train/troubleshoot issues with 5-6 technicians.  This role will require working in the field with the technicians on daily basis and interaction with sales and engineering. 

Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:

  • Responsible for training and developing up to six (6) HVAC
    Field Technicians.

  • Responsible for hiring/terminating of Service

  • Mentoring HVAC Field Technicians by providing
    technical advice and offering guidance.

  • Maintaining company standards by reviewing
    technicians work.

  • Responsible for identifying possible cost saving
    opportunities and/or minimizing risk items that will occur on various projects.

  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating
    concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and
    assigned staff.

  • Performs electrical and mechanical inspection on
    equipment to ensure peak performance.

  • Be familiar with specific preventative
    maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing and cleaning of

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings in
    reference to layout, location and operation of the system(s).

  • Represents the company in a positive manner to
    other trades, contractors and owners.

  • Advises owner/representative of preventive
    maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken, and
    offers service quotes to provide those services.

  • Adjusts processes as required to be beneficial
    to customer.

  • Works in a team-based environment to share
    information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Submits required paperwork in a timely manner.

  • Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and
    ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Flexibility to work outside normal work
    hours/weekends, as required, anticipated to be infrequent

  • Some travel requirements with some overnight

  • Mechanical Engineering degree preferred with
    seven to ten years of Commercial HVAC or related experience.

  • Experience in a leadership position.

  • Moderate PC skills in Microsoft including Word,
    Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Own car and with minimum insurance coverage of
    250/500 coverage required OR have a clean record that you can use a company vehicle

  • Clear Driving Record with current valid license

  • Clean Drug Test.
