Technical Support Specialist

Location: This position will be located at either West
Caldwell, or Piscataway, NJ or Manhattan or Maspeth NY


This position will
e customers, both
internal and external, with sophisticated, accurate technical support on
mini-VRF and VRF products and systems helping them to service their
customers.  You will also work closely with our installing contractors and
internal service fulfillment team to ensure proper installation and startup of
our Ductless & VRF systems.  


  • Provides technical
    support via telephone, email and/or fax to a large volume of customers
    including engineers and contractors and assist them in solving common, uncommon
    and complex technical problems associated with VRF HVAC equipment.

  • Maintain customer satisfaction
    by investigating concerns, advising corrective action, and communicating with
    customers, and co-workers.

  • Remotely diagnose issues
    utilizing remote monitoring software to assist the customer with support

  • If customer issues
    cannot be resolved via phone based technical support, provide in-field
    technical support assistance to customers to correct system issues.

  • Provides technical information to a network of Dealers via
    phone, email and Dealer forum.

  • Provide support for field
    personal such as Sales Engineers, Territory Managers and Sales personal.

  • Work cooperatively with
    factory technical teams to provide technical support to customers.

  • Assist departmental
    management with problematic or complex claim resolution

  • Capture information and
    entering data in computer in a timely manner

  • Read and understand
    wiring schematics and refrigerant circuit diagrams and conveys information to

  • Operate refrigerant
    recovery equipment in compliance with governmental regulations.

  • Understand and reason
    in-depth concepts and principles such as AC/DC theory, inductance, and digital

  • Demonstrate an
    understanding and adherence to all work safety policies and procedures
    including OSHA and any local authorities governing requirements.

  • Must be able to travel
    occasionally throughout the region.


  • Minimum five (5)
    years HVAC graduate, Technical College preferred.

  • 3+ years VRF field

  • Basic knowledge of
    Microsoft Office applications.

  • Basis Computer knowledge
    and operation.

  • Strong customer
    orientation and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent English
    written and verbal communication skills, Spanish or Chinese bilingual a plus.
