Title: Vice President (Or Director) of Service

Company Description: Our client is a mechanical contractor and leader in the
design, construction and operation of buildings including new construction with
a solid reputation in the industry and is continuing to have strong growth year
after year.

Currently, this company is looking
for a motivated Vice President of Service to join their team!  Reporting directly to the President, this
position represents the Service Department on the Management Team.  The corporate culture offers a spectacular

is looking to grow with the company. As a Vice President of Service, you
will be responsible for the entire Service Division, with responsibilities
including but not limited to:

  • Full P&L responsibilities.
  • Manage, hire and train employees within the service

    division

  • Supervise operations
  • Provide written evaluation of work performed, on a

    regularly scheduled basis

  • Assist with pricing, making field quotes and developing

    price quotes as well as reviewing pricing

  • Oversees the recruiting, hiring, coaching and retaining

    of service operational staff

  • Prepares and delivers clear performance expectations,

    performance reviews, and development plans for direct reports teaming with

    the Service Manager.

  • Developing new policies and procedures.
  • An entrepreneurial
    mindset, sales personality and customer focused.
  • Works with the Service Manager to resolve any issues

    and handle disciplinary issues.

  • Manage contract turnover process and mange new service

    contracts.

  • Drive the growth and revenue for the Service Department

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in the HVAC industry

    (Technical Field, Project Management, Sales, and Supervisory experience

    highly desired)

  • Construction industry experience required
  • Excellent communication skills and team player
  • Ability to organize multiple projects and meet

    deadlines

  • Superior customer relation skills
  • Experience growing and managing a Service

    Department 

  • Dedicated to growing the service department and running

    the department as if it were your own business

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with building a team, promoting a positive

    work environment

  • Ability to cover the Phila  and Baltimore Market, company is looking to expand into DC and Tri State Region
  • Experience with both construction and service is extremely helpful  (construction projects  fall between $1M - $30MM)
