Title: Service Dispatcher


Our client is a well-established Industrial Refrigeration service company in the New England market. Our client provides a variety of services, including system designing, energy studies, performance evaluations, and system and equipment maintenance, to the commercial and industrial HVAC/R industry for over 20 years. Working predominately in the food/beverage, pharmaceutical, and process industries, our client prides itself delivering excellence to their customers efficiently and effectively. Currently, this company is looking to add Service Dispatcher to their growing team! As a Service Dispatcher, your responsibilities include:

  • Receiving incoming service calls from customers and serving as the main point of contact for customer service requests and inquires;
  • Scheduling and dispatching technicians to service calls based on technician’s skill set, availability, and the urgency of the service call;
  • Informing technicians of customers’ locations and the general basis of the service call;
  • Scheduling and coordinating start-ups, preventative maintenance, new installations, and emergency services;
  • Maintaining records of each customers’ information, services, and equipment;
  • Ordering parts and materials;
  • Reviewing all open orders to determine if a follow up appointment is needed or if the order can be closed;
  • Quoting parts and services when needed; and
  • Processing all customer billing and time sheets.

Location: Andover or Woburn, MA


  • Minimum of 3 years’ in the HVAC/R industry
  • Direct experience in a high-volume, highly-detailed service dispatching/scheduling environment
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Hours are between 7AM -5PM (can work 7-4, 7:30-4:30 or 8-5)
