Our client is well
established, growing HVAC company headquartered in Long Island, NY. They
specialize in the sales, service and installation of High End Residential,
Commercial and Industrial HVAC systems.

Job Description

This position will be
supporting a field staff of approximately 15 and visiting job sites daily. This
position will be field based and only have to go to the office in Long Island
maybe one day a week. Company will provide vehicle and necessary electronic
equipment for field support. Ideal home base for the candidate will be Queens, Brooklyn or Eastern Long Island.


  • Provide technical guidance to contractors and assist them in solving
    common, uncommon, and complex technical problem associated with HVAC
    VRF, WSHP,
    Chillers up to 50 ton, Water Towers, Cooling Towers up to 1,000 ton,
    Controls and VAV products

  • Verify quality of proper installation of HVAC systems

  • Will be the lead troubleshooter for all field technicians

  • Be there to ensure technician is doing the proper Factory Startup
    and Warranty Inspections
  • Provide technical support for
    internal sales team

  • Provide BAS integration and work
    with BAS contractor to verify proper communication between client and

  • Work cooperatively with factory technical teams to discuss
    warranty issues and provide field feedback on product lines

  •  Read and understand
    wiring schematics and refrigerant circuit diagrams and convey information
    to customer

  • Operate refrigerant recovery equipment in compliance with
    governmental regulations

  • Ability to travel throughout Suffolk, Nassau & the 5

  • Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work
    safety policies, including OSHA and local governing authorities

  • Ensure technicians are properly groomed and dressed per
    company standards

  • Ensure technicians truck is stocked and presentable per
    company standards

  • Ensure technicians training and certificates are up to date


  • Associates Degree
    in HVACR or equivalent field experience

  • Prefer
    certifications in OSHA 10, EPA, Fitness, and Fire Watch & Burn

  • Minimum of 7
    years field experience within the HVAC industry

  • Working knowledge
    of Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to work
    independently with a high level of accountability

  • Strong
    problem-solving skills and troubleshooting experience

  • Strong customer orientation
    and interpersonal skills

  • Strong verbal and
    written skills
